Spring, jubilant, dances into Summer. Summer, bold and gregarious, frolics into Autumn. Autumn, quiet and reflective looks towards Winter. Winter, ponders thoughts and gathers wisdom to teach young Spring.

"Dogs need to sniff the ground; it's how they keep abreast of current events. The ground is a giant dog newspaper, containing all kinds of late-breaking dog news items, which, if they are especially urgent, are often continued in the next yard."

Welp, the Heroic Hayley Boo Banana Nut Bread celebrated her 15.5 barkday today. And as fwys are her favorite thing in all the world, those of us who care honored her by having fwys in her illustrious name. The human did well and remembered to pick up some curly fwys wif her chicken bacon swiss from Arby's tonight. Here I am taste testing the very first fwy, as is my right. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the venerable Hayley, read up on her in one of my previous blogs:

If asserting your dominance doesn't solve the issue, do some fake playing with the offending toy until the human isn't looking...
Then it's time for some invasive surgery. Don't tidy up after yourself. You want the human to see the "remains" so they understand once and for all that the toy is NOT acceptable. I know it seems kinda cruel, butt (very fluffy) sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind...

I've been trying to make it clear to the human (let's face it, they're not the sharpest tacks in the universe), that I don't care for my barkday toy at all. First of all, it's just all weird looking. Secondly, it has a lousy squeaky, and finally its smell is all off. In cases like this, you can try asserting your dominance...

So, the human thinks it's cute to buy me an exact replica of the stuffed toy the little Dachshund had in the Petsmart commercial awhile back. Same color and everything. Well, you can see what my reaction is to all of this. I'm a Fluff, after all, and I expect something unique and wonderful!

I don't usually post anything that doesn't feature yours truly fluffy, butt I'm going to make an exception and show you one of the videos the human took this afternoon when a big sudden storm suddenly swooped in on us. I'll admit I was a little concerned, butt I bravely stood my ground in the living room (as opposed to hiding under the bed) as hail crashed into the windows and thunder boomed over head. The main reason for showing this video though is to hear the human freak out. Hee hee, makes me snigger up my fluffy sleeve every time...

It was three years ago today that I was born to Clip and Sophie (check out my pedigree down and to the left). I'd like to thank them, natch, as well as our terrific breeder, Liisa Coit. I know the human has some stuff planned so I'm looking forward to a great barkday for yours truly fluffy!
