Okay, I am fond of the human and all, and I certainly appreciate getting new toys. Who wouldn't? Butt, do we really need the video and the silly narrative? Honestly, this is supposed to be a grown woman behind the camera, and you'd never know listening to her. Howsumeber, you CAN mute your sound and still enjoy me enjoying my new Tuffy toy. Entirely up to you...

I've been taking care of the human lately. She had her gallbladder removed on Thursday, ya see. My Grammie came and picked us up and took us to her house to stay whilst the human recovered a bit. Now we're home again. I gotta keep an eye on her for awhile, make sure she doesn't fall over or anything. See, it's going about on those two legs. Just not a good idea!

Welp, me and the human are semi-famous, pretty much! We were invited to participate in the "Coffee with a Canine" blog. A lot of the people who've been on it with their pooches are published writers, so the human was quite flattered at first. Then she realized she was asked cuz they were looking for someone more ordinary. Oops, ahem, ah well. I'm special enough for the both of us, LOL!!! See our post here:

Welp, I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to augment the corgi mind meld with my "shatters glass" high pitched whine in order to roust the human out of bed this morning. What a slug! Gotta go, gotta go right now! So, while she was up anyway, I had her take a nice picture of me from across the blooming herb bed. The pink stuff you see is yarrow and the blue stuff to the left of me is caryopteris. It's a nice morning, but already in the mid 70s by 8:00 a.m. It'll be another scorcher today, prolly in the triple digits. Ouch, too hot for this fluffy black & tan.

Again, never underestimate a corgi's unfailing ability to place herself in the most advantageous position. Doesn't matter whether it's a full meal or a light snack. If a human is eating something somewhere within 5 miles of a corgi, the corgi is THERE.

When in the heck are the Hobbit movies ever gonna get made and be released? I've been waiting and waiting. And WHO will play The Hobbit? Can't believe we're still even waiting to hear on that. Who's holding things up? New Line Cinema? MGM? Cripes, if it took a corgi this long to get anything done, welp, it would be a pretty poor showing, that's what!
The Fellowship of the Ring movie by Peter Jackson revealed a little known activity called "dwarf tossing". Around here, the activity is more accurately called "hedgie tossing". Watch the video and note my superior retrieval techniques.

What I'm asking is should the word "herb" be pronounced like the name Herb (like my human's paternal grandfather) or like "erb". Seems like the English pronounce it one way, and Americans pronounce it another way. Welp, I guess it doesn't really matter. An herb, by any other name would be just as smelly. I'm sniffing some lemon balm in this picture. See the pretty double petunias on my left? (That's MY left, ahem).
