Pine Cone Collection

Welp, I added another pine cone to my growing collection. I'm rather proud of it and had the human snap some pics. I've got a big craft project planned, butt it's under wraps till I work out all the details.

Nefarious Plot?

Oooh, a new post just showed up on "The Watching Blog". I'm very suspicious after reading this thing. I suspect a hidden agenda, butt you be the judge:

False Accusations!

Welp, once again another poor corgi at an undisclosed location in the midwest has been maligned and mistreated. First, it was the "kin i hab a fwy pwease" debacle, and now... Apparently a bag of deramaxx was broken into and 30 pills were ingested. Now admittedly, this IS cause for big concern. Butt, I'm sure that TBBEYTM Aisling was unprepared for the forced evacuation of her stomach contents. This fluffy reporter was on the scene and interviewed Miz Aisling: "oh, it was terrible! there i wuz, minding my own biz, ruminating on the breakfast i'd legitimately earned, when suddenly i was grabbed from behind and forced to upchuck the whole lot! i declared my innocence repeatedly, butt to no avail. and none of those stinkin' pills were found, mind you. butt, was i offered another breakfast as compensation? oh noooooooo!". I shook my head in total commiseration. What a sad, sad thing. All corgis in the vicinity are under house arrest (called "observation" by the hooman involved, yeah right) as suspicions mount. This is totally unfair, and this reporter heard someone grumbling about maybe contacting PETA. Lawsy, that's how bad it is!! Will keep y'all informed, as this story continues to unfold. Meanwhile, my objectivity is being sorely tested. Why are the prettiest ones always blamed first? Here's a picture of Aisling, taking a much needed nap after being on display at a corgi picnic all day. The work of the beautiful is never done!

Clear Sailing!

Welp, it was sure a cheery sight to see the sun shining this morning! It's been gray skies and pouring rain for far too long. Me and the human did a whole tour around the neighborhood, instead of the usual quick dash. The mountains look so pretty with their snow blankie, so I got the human to take a nice picture. Complete with bird on a wire, LOL!

Snowy Bulb Bed

Whoa, and look at our poor widdo bulb bed. Sure hope this doesn't kill off all the tulips, hyacinths, crocus and muscari to be!

What the Heck is This?

We've been getting a lot of rain all week. I mean a LOT of rain. Butt, apparently, it finally got cold enough for the rain to turn into white stuff. The human calls it snow. Hey, I was born just northeast of San Diego, what do I know from snow? Very strange...

YouTube Debut!

Welp, the back garden was looking pretty untidy, I must say. So, I pestered the human to get out there and rake/bag leaves. She grumbles endlessly about the weeping willow in back of us that rains down leaves during the winter. Butt, you just have to stay on top of that stuff. So, once she was done and I inspected everything, I suggested she shoot a video. Our bulbs are coming up nicely in the new bed, and I'm featured at the very end. So, enjoy!

Help for Haiti

There was a massive earthquake in Haiti yesterday, resulting in horrific loss of life. I am urging everyone to get their humans to help by donating to organizations such as the American Red Cross:

http://www.redcross.org/

And Unicef:

http://www.unicef.org/

These are organizations your humans can feel safe donating to online, and your help will get to where it is most needed. This is a very poor island nation, ill-equipped to handle such a disaster. Besides the more practical help, they also need prayers.

Franks an beans,
Stella

Keep after your humans!

Here's a picture of my human with her other two corgis, Emma and Travelyr (now at the Rainbow Bridge). It's kind of an old picture, butt she won't let me use anything recent cuz she says she looks too fat (sheesh). Point is, humans aren't the brightest spots in the universe (corgis are). So, if you have a human who's complaining about not feeling well, do them a big favor. Bite them in the butt until they GET HELP! My human had a gallbladder attack last week and stubbornly refused to get help until she was in really bad shape. She did finally go to the hospital, found out she had gallstones, and will need to get surgery. She was lucky. It could have been a heart attack. See what I mean about getting help? Don't let them sit around feeling sorry for themselves until they finally keel over. You have to keep on top of this stuff, those of you who own humans. It's your job.

Firmly butt Fluffily,
Stella

Rescue Fluff!

Welp, I'm putting the word out on this handsome boy. Simon is a gorgeous fluff who has just come into rescue out in Michigan. He's currently staying with our good friend, Millie Williams, who besides being a famous author, is also a breeder of the most excellent Kallista Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and has been involved in corgi rescue for many years. Here's a link to the rescue site for more information:
